When and why did you become part of this industry?

I started doing hair professionally in 2020 but I have been my friends and family honorary hairdresser since middle school.

I wanted to be a part of this industry because I love how transformative a fresh cut or color can be for one's self esteem. Growing up there were a lot of things I didn't have control over but my hair was something I always had the freedom to experiment with. Beauty is definitely not all on the outside by any means but when your look good you feel good and I love being able to help others reflect their truest best self by giving them great color.

What is your favourite hair to colour/cut?

I love all hair colors and types but If I had to pick it would be lived in dimensional color. Whether you're a blonde, brunette, or redhead I love being able to create a custom sun-kissed look to complement everyone's unique tones. My goal is always to emulate what the sun and our hair would naturally do but play it up so it feels purposeful and intentional.

Tell us what inspires you.

I'm definitely inspired by art and pop culture. Trends can be so cyclical but I feel like every time they come back around we have the opportunity to give them a nuanced feel and new life.

Fantasy dinner date?

My fantasy dinner date would have to be either Mexican food or Italian. I'm a sucker for some good pasta or nachos! Other than that just good people and good conversation!

Ad lib time, what else do you want to tell the world?

I love getting to have new clients in my chair. One of my favorite things about this industry is the opportunity to meet others from all walks of life and share stories. I think everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin so I'd love to talk to you about your hair and give you the change you're looking for!
